MRD Showcases TSN Switches at 2026 CIIF

From October 12 to 16, 2026, the 26th China International Industry Fair (CIIF) was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Themed “Intelligent Economy, Boundless Smart Manufacturing,” this year’s CIIF covered a total exhibition area of 310,000 m² and attracted more than 3,200 exhibitors from 24 countries and regions worldwide, setting new records in both scale and international participation. Shanghai MRDCom Co., Ltd. presented its MRD industrial switches at dual booths H6.1‑B001 and H6.1‑B127, demonstrating its outstanding capabilities in the industrial communication sector.

01 Exhibition Review

Over the five‑day CIIF, the exhibition halls were bustling with visitors and vibrant professional exchanges. New technologies and products were unveiled across major pavilions, fully demonstrating the vigorous vitality of industrial intelligent development. At the Shanghai MRDCom Co., Ltd. booth, the MRD series industrial switches attracted numerous professional visitors who stopped by for discussions. Leveraging the platforms of PI‑China and CC‑Link, our team engaged in multiple in‑depth conversations with customers and partners from smart manufacturing, industrial automation, energy and power, and other fields on topics including the reliability, security, and domestic substitution trends of industrial network communications.

At this exhibition, we highlighted our TSN industrial switches. TSN technology addresses the core issue of transmission determinism in industrial networks – through time synchronization and traffic scheduling, critical control data can achieve microsecond‑level jitter and zero packet loss, enabling IT services and OT control to converge on the same network and truly realize “one network to the end.”

During the exhibition, our company was invited to deliver a presentation at the CC‑Link booth, sharing MRD’s technological exploration and implementation cases in the TSN field. The presentation received an enthusiastic response and attracted numerous customers interested in TSN technology and related applications to visit our booth for further discussions.

02 MRD Solution

The smart factory network topology architecture is based on MRD industrial switches. The solution adopts a typical layered design, clearly separating the “office network” and the “smart manufacturing network,” and achieving effective isolation and reliable interworking between IT and OT through security boundaries. On the smart manufacturing network side, MRD switches are deployed at the workshop layer and access layer, connecting downward to edge devices such as AGV forklifts, air compressor stations, packaging systems, and energy systems, and connecting upward through the aggregation layer to systems such as databases and MES.
